Cookie Policy

Template — not yet reviewed by counsel. This Cookie Policy is a plain-English draft prepared by the Quordo product team. The exact cookies and storage keys must be reconciled with the production build, and the consent approach validated against ePrivacy/PECR and other applicable rules, by a qualified lawyer before go-live.
We use a small number of cookies — only what we need to run Quordo securely, plus optional analytics that load only with consent where required. You can review and change your choice from the manage preferences control at the bottom of this page.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. We also use the related technology localStorage, which works the same way for our purposes. Some cookies are required for the service to work at all (strictly necessary); others are optional and load only with your consent where consent is required.
Strictly necessary cookies
These keep you signed in, protect the service from abuse, and make billing work. They cannot be turned off without breaking the service, and we rely on them under the strictly-necessary exemption. • Provider: Supabase. Purpose: authenticate the signed-in user (session token). Retention: session, with a sliding expiry. • Provider: Quordo (first-party). Purpose: remember the active organization, route, and interface state. Retention: up to 1 year. • Provider: Stripe. Purpose: loaded on billing pages to process subscriptions and protect against payment fraud. Retention: set by Stripe. See https://stripe.com/legal/privacy-center.
Preference storage
We remember your consent choice and a few interface preferences in your browser's localStorage so you aren't asked the same question every visit. • Key: analytics-consent. Purpose: remember whether you accepted or declined optional cookies. Retention: until you clear browser storage or change the choice. • Key: active-org / ui-preferences. Purpose: keep you in the right workspace with your chosen layout. Retention: until you clear browser storage.
Analytics cookies (optional)
Where we use product analytics, they help us understand which pages and features help and where users get stuck. Analytics load only after you accept optional cookies where consent is required, and we do not use them for advertising or share data with ad networks. Opt out at any time from the manage-preferences control below. The exact analytics provider and retention will be listed here once finalised in the production build.
Error monitoring (optional)
Where we use error monitoring, it captures JavaScript errors so we can fix bugs. Error reports include a stack trace, the page URL, the browser type, and a pseudonymous session identifier — not your provider credentials or estate data. It loads only with consent where required, and you can decline it from the manage-preferences control below.
What we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies, social-media tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking. We do not share data with ad networks, data brokers, or retargeting platforms, and we do not fingerprint your device beyond what our strictly-necessary providers need to protect the service.
How to change your choice
Use the "Manage cookie preferences" control at the bottom of this page to accept or decline optional cookies. You can also clear your browser's cookies and localStorage at any time — you'll be asked again on your next visit.
